According to taste

According to Taste was born in 2018 when founder Daniel Walters started to find his footing with the craft of composing music. The band has functioned primarily as a live act, playing countless venues across the Southeast. Daniel was later joined by bassist Alexa Fox in 2020 during the slow down of live music from the pandemic, and drummer Tyler Wedge in the summer of 2023. The band is heavily influenced by the sound of groups like Sublime, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, Prince, Boston, Widespread Panic and Phish to name a few. They take bits and pieces from each and merge them together to create music unbound by the parameters of "genre", aiming to take you on a wild ride through the diverse range of sonic possibilities.
